I had a family event in Norcal on April 27 so unfortunately could not do the Berkeley Hills Road race, but did the Berkeley Streets Criterium the next day. This was very fun for me because law school in Berkeley is where I started racing.
It was a typical old school course, a tight rectangle, a fast downhill to turn three and then immediately into turn four, and terrible pavement. Just like I like!
World beater Larry Nolan lead it out from turn three, and unfortunately, I could not come around him. I need to work on a bit more power!
